Yemaya

A long-forgotten river and ocean goddess of the Orisha pantheon, who re-ascends to the Halls of Ascendency when Carl's party restores her shrine on the Eighth Floor. Her temple becomes the entrance to Club Vanquisher. She serves as a retainer to her old friend Eileithyia and clashes with her brother Ogun over her return.

1. At Katia's urging Bomo reassembles her broken shrine in the church of a freed settlement; Yemaya re-ascends and the room becomes her temple and the way into Club Vanquisher. source
2. Ogun appears and kills Anton, counting Yemaya's return among the worshippers' offences, and tells Carl to say welcome back to his sister. source
3. Yemaya rises from her fountain, vows action over Anton's killing, gives gifts to Sister Ines and Donut, and teleports Bomo to Sledge in Larracos. source
4. Yemaya is named Eileithyia's retainer for the Ascendency games, after Huanxin Jinx asked Katia to steer Carl to the shrine. source

1. After the Varg Vikernes achievement bans Carl from most temples, her temple stays one of the few he may enter. source
2. After Huanxin Jinx dies, Eileithyia offers Katia a place in her and Yemaya's court; Katia declines. source
