Crescent City

Summary spoilers for the whole series

Also called the Summerlands, Avallen is a sacred Fae island off the shore of Valbara and Pangera. Mists guard it so thoroughly that even the Asteri could not pierce them, so it governs itself, and only an invitation from its High King or Queen lets a visitor cross. Its Fae are rivals of the Pangeran Fae, hold to patriarchal customs, and are known for shadow magic.
