Throne of Glass

Summary spoilers for the whole series

The nameless homeland of the Valg, a plane gone dark, cold and windswept after a long war won by three Valg kings. They ruled together in a balance for about a thousand years. Then Maeve arrived, married the eldest king, Orcus, and grew restless. Using a tear between realms, she glimpsed bright, green Erilea and waited for a chance to leave.
