Throne of Glass

Summary spoilers for the whole series

Homeland of all witches. Its last Crochan queen, Rhiannon, cursed it during the sieges about five hundred years before the series, so that the Ironteeth Matrons and their descendants might win the war but never hold the land, which would wither in their hands. The curse could be undone only together. In Kingdom of Ash the Thirteen yield to destroy a witch-tower, the curse breaks, and Manon leads the witches home to rebuild.
