Cerebro

Comics, Fox films

Professor X's mutant-detecting machine, kept in the west wing of the Xavier mansion for decades and rebuilt several times. Its seventh version is a helmet that also copies mutant minds, used for the Krakoa resurrection protocol until Xavier's assassination broke it into shards that Magneto made into a sword.
