Cornell Stokes, called Cottonmouth, is a Harlem crime boss who inherits the Stokes Crime Family and the club Harlem's Paradise after his grandmother Mama Mabel dies. A botched weapons sale and Luke Cage's raids on his safe houses drain his money and standing. He kills several allies and enemies, is arrested and released, and is murdered on November 30, 2015 by his cousin Mariah Dillard, who then takes over his organization.
