Harold Meachum co-founded Rand Enterprises with Wendell Rand, then arranged the Rands' deaths in a deal with Madame Gao and the Hand, who revived him after his cancer killed him. Kept hidden in a penthouse and controlling the company through his son Ward, he used Danny Rand against the Hand, then betrayed him. Danny's fight with him ended when Ward shot him in February 2016.
