Ted Sallis, a human transformed into the creature called Man-Thing. Held by S.H.I.E.L.D. at the Fridge until Hydra freed the prisoners in 2014, he ended up on Sakaar as one of the Grandmaster's Champions, then returned to Earth and befriended Jack Russell. In 2025 Verussa Bloodstone captured him as prey for her monster hunt, and he helped Russell and Elsa Bloodstone escape.
Man-Thing (2005)
Monster of the swamps between the Florida Everglades and Louisiana, once Ted Sallis. It has no personal consciousness, is one with the swamp, regenerates from it, and kills anyone who threatens the swamp or the Nexus.

- 2014 · Cinematic: During the Hydra Uprising, S.H.I.E.L.D. falls and its files are published, and Man-Thing is freed when John Garrett and Grant Ward raid the Fridge.
- 2017 · Cinematic: By this year he has left Sakaar and returned to Earth, where he befriends the werewolf Jack Russell.
- 2025 · Cinematic: Verussa Bloodstone captures him and weakens him with the Bloodstone as the quarry of a monster hunt at Bloodstone Manor.
- 2025 · Cinematic: He burns a hunter to death, meets Elsa Bloodstone, and escapes when she removes the Bloodstone from him.
- 2025 · Cinematic: He returns to the temple, rescues Elsa by killing Verussa Bloodstone, and then goes to find Russell.
