Callaghan headed the robotics program at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. Believing Alistair Krei killed his daughter Abigail in a failed portal test, he stole Hiro Hamada's microbots, faked his death in a fire and, as the masked Yokai, attacked Hiro and his friends. Big Hero 6 unmasked and stopped him, and Abigail was recovered alive.
