Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
After Adam Warlock attacks Knowhere and leaves Rocket dying, the Guardians raid OrgoCorp to override a kill switch in his body. The trail leads to Counter-Earth and the High Evolutionary, who made Rocket. The team saves Rocket and many captive animals, then splits up, with Rocket taking command.
