Secret Wars (1984)
The Beyonder pulls dozens of heroes and villains from Earth through a giant ring in Central Park to Battleworld, a patchwork planet he built. He sets good against evil in a contest. Marvel's first company-wide crossover, it began in the characters' own titles and ran twelve issues.
