The X-Men's main jet, a scaled-up spy plane that began as a S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft. Xavier took it on after Count Nefaria destroyed the old Stratojet. Forge later fitted Shi'ar technology, and over the years many Blackbirds were built and rebuilt. The hangar moved beneath the basketball court after the mansion was destroyed, and the jets followed the team to its later homes.
