Federation scientist and leader of Project Genesis, mother of David by Kirk. She was on Starbase 1 in 2259, worked on Regula I in 2284 and 2285, and lost her son to Klingons on the Genesis Planet later that year.

Kelvin

A Starfleet weapons physicist, daughter of Admiral Alexander Marcus, who raised in London. In 2259 she slipped aboard the Enterprise under her mother's maiden name to investigate seventy-two secret torpedoes, helping uncover Khan inside one. She watched Khan kill her father, then joined the ship as science officer for the five-year mission and was gone by about three years later.
