Delta Vega (Vulcan system)

Federation core · Kelvin

An icy, predator-haunted planet circling 40 Eridani A, near enough to Vulcan to see it in the sky. In the Kelvin timeline Starfleet kept a small outpost there, where Scotty and Keenser served out a six-month posting in 2258. Nero left Ambassador Spock stranded on it to watch Vulcan die, and Kirk was marooned there too, which is how the three met.
