Genesis planet

Federation core · Prime

An uninhabited Class M planet formed in 2285 when the Genesis Device detonated in the Mutara Nebula at the end of Kirk's battle with Khan. Its life evolved at wild speed and, because of unstable protomatter, it soon broke apart, taking the Grissom and Enterprise with it.
