Aesudan Kholin

Queen of Alethkar through marriage to Elhokar. While he is away she lives lavishly among flattering ardents and rules as regent in his absence, cancelling a charity feast and having a critic put to death. Later she vanishes from public view, issues erratic proclamations, and locks her palace guard away during the siege of Kholinar. She is said to have bonded the Unmade Yelig-nar.

1. Rioting breaks out in Kholinar as her proclamations grow strange; one orders the parshmen put to death but they are only exiled, and lighteyes who go to confront her never return. source
2. During the siege of Kholinar she locks palace guards in the garrison for refusing her orders. source
3. Elhokar finds that she has bonded the Unmade Yelig-nar, which has taken over her persona and appearance; her husband is dead by then. source
