Summary spoilers for the whole series

The young son of Elhokar and Aesudan and heir to the Alethi throne. His father tries to take him out of the Kholinar palace but is killed, and a guard carries him off. Kaladin later finds him with former bridgemen among refugees on the coast, and Dalinar begins looking after him.

  1. Elhokar takes Gavinor from his mother, who has bonded the Unmade Yelig-nar, to leave the palace. source
  2. Elhokar is killed by Moash while carrying Gavinor, and one of the Queen's Guard takes the boy away. source
  3. Kaladin finds Gavinor among Alethi refugees on the coast, with Skar and Drehy, and Dalinar names him heir. source
