Summary spoilers for the whole series

A vast field of plateaus split by deep chasms on the edge of the Frostlands, next to the Unclaimed Hills, Alethkar and New Natanan. The Alethi warcamps sit here, and highprinces race for chasmfiend gemhearts while fighting the Parshendi under the Vengeance Pact. Most of the first book is set on the Plains.
