Daniel Bautista

An Earth crawler and former tea-shop owner who lost four siblings and fifteen cousins within days of entering. He is a Tigran Swashbuckler who fights with a curved sword and an army of summonable plush figures. After Carl and Donut avenge his family on the Third Floor he becomes a loyal ally, joins Team Katia, and rises to General in the Princess Posse.

1. On the Third Floor Bautista meets Carl and Donut, learns the lemurs that killed his relatives are already dead, swears a debt to them and points them to a stairwell east of the village. source

1. He leads roughly four hundred crawlers down the Fourth Floor line in search of stairwells and arrives at station 433, which proves to be a city boss. source
2. During the End of the Line Rescue he fights his way up the abyss walkway to the correct station, losing almost fifty of his people. source

1. On the Fifth Floor he clears all four castles in his bubble, though most of the crawlers who landed with him die. source
2. At the end of the Fifth Floor he joins Team Katia, which Katia forms around the surviving daughters of Brynhild. source

1. On the Sixth Floor he serves in Katia's party within Safehome Yolanda and begins a relationship with her. source

1. He is squadded with Katia, Louis, Britney and Tran in Reykjavik on the Eighth Floor. source
2. Over the plan to assassinate Astrid he refuses to stand by, and walks out of the club. source
3. He joins the twenty-crawler party that reaches Carl in Cuba. source

1. During Faction Wars he deploys with Katia and the 105th, keeping a corridor of retreat open toward Shanty Town. source
2. He helps cut down the mantaur guards holding the entrance to Club Vanquisher in the raid on the Blood Sultanate. source
3. Bautista brings Katia the cybernetic limbs she had been building for herself. source

1. On the Tenth Floor he races with Louis and Britney in a neon lowrider Tahoe. source
2. He chooses to leave the playing field through the Pineapple Cabaret escape, after getting consent from Louis and Britney. source
