Grull

A war god of the Celestial Ascendency, a hulking bull-headed centaur worshipped by horses, mantaurs and similar mobs. Trueborn son of Taranis and Apito, and brother of Pawna. A summoned form is invulnerable below the Twelfth Floor and is driven by his sponsor Prince Maestro. He hunts Carl through a Fourth Floor rail yard, is later cut off from Carl by Donut, and ends by granting Dong Quixote and Corcunda a good death.

1. Carl nearly summons Grull while fighting the mantaur Gore-Gore on the Fourth Floor but kills the vessel in time. source
2. On the last day of the Fourth Floor Carl punches a mantaur guard until the summoning begins, intending to throw Grull at a Mimic Rex in a rail yard. source
3. Grull splits the city boss in half and hunts Carl across the yard; the sponsor is revealed as Prince Maestro, and a second mantaur is thrown through a portal, pulling Grull away. source

1. The encounter gives Carl a deity tab and the option to worship Grull, which he refuses. source
2. On the Fifth Floor Carl pledges himself to Emberus rather than Grull, closing off Grull's worship for the crawl. source

1. During a Tenth Floor factory heat Grull is summoned just as Corky and Porky are rejoined as Corcunda. source
2. Donut ejects Maestro from Grull; Dong Quixote and Corcunda strike the god together and die, and Grull returns to the Twelfth Floor. source
