Hypaxia Enador

A half-witch, half-necromancer raised in seclusion by her mother, Queen Hecuba, and taught by ancient ghosts. She is crowned Witch Queen of Valbara and works as a medwitch in Lunathion while helping Ruhn trace Synth. Betrothed to Ruhn for politics, she is secretly involved with the Archangel Celestina, and aids Bryce and Ithan against demons and the Under-King.

1. Hypaxia grows up almost alone in her mother's mountain fortress, taught by three ancient ghosts, with no photographs of her in existence. source

1. After her mother's death she finds a way to keep Hecuba's soul from resting in a place where it would be harvested as secondlight. source
2. A month after Hecuba dies Hypaxia is crowned Witch Queen and works as a medwitch in Lunathion, researching Synth with Ruhn. source
3. She extracts and stabilises kristallos venom for Bryce and later sends a Synth antidote that saves Bryce in her fight with Micah Domitus. source
4. The Asteri recognise Hypaxia as Witch Queen at the Summit, exposing her identity. source

1. She formally accepts the Autumn King's proposal that she marry Ruhn, and makes friends in Lunathion including Tharion. source
2. She and Bryce fight off two Deathstalker demons, and she heals Ithan Holstrom after they nearly kill him. source
3. At the mating celebration Bryce and Hunt stumble on Hypaxia with Celestina and promise to keep the secret. source
4. Her summoning ritual for Ithan brings up the Under-King in place of Connor's spirit, and he demands that Bryce meet him at Urd's Temple. source
