Summary spoilers for the whole series

The territories south of the Wall that belong to humans, part of them below Prythian and part on the Continent. They were granted to mortals after the War and the treaty that built the Wall. Humans there hate the Fae and fear raiders who cross the Wall, while a minority worships the Fae. The mortal queens kept one half of the Book of Breathings.
