Hybern

A faerie kingdom on an island west of Prythian, ruled by a single king rather than High Lords. It sided with the slave-keeping loyalists in the old War, killed its human slaves instead of freeing them, and then sank into isolation and resentment. Its army leans on faebane. The king later seeks the Cauldron to break the Wall, and falls in the final battle.

1. Hybern fights on the loyalist side of the War between faeries and humans to keep its human slaves, with Amarantha as its chief commander and an alliance with the Spring Court. source
2. After defeat and the treaty, the king kills every human in his lands rather than free them, then cuts Hybern off and lets it decay into poverty and grievance. source
3. Around five centuries after the War, Hybern sends Amarantha as a peaceful emissary to each court of Prythian. source
4. Amarantha tricks the High Lords, steals their power and proclaims herself High Queen of Prythian. source

1. The king, having found the Book of Breathings to restore the Cauldron, allies with Jurian and the Mortal Queens. source
2. To show the Cauldron's power, the king has Nesta and Elain Archeron kidnapped by Ianthe and Made into High Fae, and Tamlin agrees to let Hybern's armies cross Spring Court land toward the Wall. source

1. The king's nephew and niece Dagdan and Brannagh scout the Wall with Jurian, try to kill Feyre and Lucien, and are killed after revealing Hybern's army exceeds one hundred thousand. source
2. Hybern uses the Cauldron to destroy the Wall and attacks the Mortal Lands. source
3. In the final battle the King of Hybern is killed by Nesta and Elain; the page says it is unknown who rules afterward. source
