Night Court

The northernmost and largest of Prythian's seven courts and one of the three Solar Courts, ruled by Rhysand with Feyre as High Lady. It has two faces: the Court of Nightmares around the Hewn City, feared by outsiders, and the Court of Dreams in hidden Velaris, whose existence the second book reveals.

1. An ancient High Lord seals the borders, purges the worst of the court, and builds Velaris as the hidden Court of Dreams. source
2. Rhysand's father, High Lord of the Night Court, is killed by Tamlin and the High Lord's powers pass to Rhysand. source
3. Amarantha strips the court's High Lord of much of his power and takes Rhysand as her captive. source

1. Feyre frees Tamlin and the courts from Amarantha's curse, freeing the Night Court with the rest. source

1. Rhysand brings Feyre to the Moonstone Palace after hearing her call for help on her wedding day. source
2. Rhysand shows Feyre Velaris, the court's best-kept secret. source
3. The mortal queens reveal Velaris to the King of Hybern and Feyre helps defend the city from his attack. source
4. Feyre learns of her mating bond with Rhysand and becomes High Lady. source

1. Rhysand calls the High Lords to a meeting; the Day, Dawn, Winter and Summer Courts back an alliance against Hybern. source

1. With Prythian still rebuilding after the Hybern War, the court's inner circle is divided by betrayals and revealed truths as Koschei's threat spreads from the continent. source
