The northernmost of the four seasonal courts in Prythian, ruled by the quiet High Lord Kallias and his mate Viviane. It is a land of ice palaces, reindeer sleighs, armoured white bears and fox couriers. Under Amarantha, some of its people rebelled and Kallias came close to being executed.

  1. Winter citizens rebel against Amarantha Under the Mountain; Rhysand talks her out of killing Kallias and she punishes him instead. source
  2. Two dozen Winter children are slaughtered and their minds destroyed on Amarantha's order, and Kallias believes Rhysand was the one who shattered them. source
  3. Kallias, with other High Lords, gives Feyre a portion of his magic to save her life, which turns her High Fae. source
