Throne of Glass

Summary spoilers for the whole series

Capital city of Adarlan and the setting of much of the series' conflict. White walls and cobbled streets enclose a harbor on the Avery River, a large slum and a shopping district, all dominated by the crystalline Glass Palace built over an older stone castle. Notable places are the Vaults, an underground pleasure hall for dealings kept from the king, and the Shadow Market, an ancient bazaar where nearly anything is sold.
