Hela
TMDB
Cinematic
Hela is Odin's firstborn, the Asgardian Goddess of Death. She helped him conquer the Nine Realms, then was banished to Hel after trying to seize the throne. Released when Odin died in 2017, she crossed from Earth to Asgard, slaughtered its armies, and built an undead force. Thor and Loki defeated her by freeing Surtur, whose Ragnarok destroyed Asgard and killed her.
Comics
The Asgardian goddess of death, created as an artificial Death Stone in Niffleheim and raised by Loki and Angerboda. Odin made her queen of the dishonored dead in Hel and Niffleheim. She schemes against Thor and Asgard, loses her realm, wanders on Earth, regains it, is overthrown by Angela, and later allies with Thanos. As the Queen in Black she takes control of the Symbiote Hive and invades Earth, but Knull kills her.
