Norman Osborn, founder of Oscorp from another universe, took an unstable enhancer and split into the murderous Green Goblin, dying in a fight with that universe's Spider-Man. In 2024 Doctor Strange's failed spell pulled him into the MCU universe, where he sought help from Peter Parker, was imprisoned in the Sanctum, killed May Parker as the Goblin, then was cured by an anti-serum at the Statue of Liberty and sent home.

After testing a performance enhancer on himself he developed a second, murderous persona, the Green Goblin, and became Spider-Man's first enemy. He learned Peter Parker's identity, attacked those close to him, and died on his own glider. His ghost later haunted Harry.
