Alfheim
Modern, Comics: In the War of Burning, the Light Elves fought off Surtur's Fire Demon hordes and protected the realm.
Comics
Alfheim is a Ten Realms world of enchanted forests, candy flora and wine springs, home to the Light Elves in a monarchy centered on the castle Ljosalfgard, ruled by Queen Aelsa. It sits on the highest tier of Yggdrasil beside Asgard and Vanaheim. After many raids, Malekith invaded it in the War of the Realms, burned most of the capital and left the survivors to flee to Earth.
Cinematic
Alfheim is one of the Nine Realms and the home of the Light Elves. The page says little more than that it was among the worlds that lined up with the others during the Convergence, once in the distant past and again in 2013.
