Comics
Sean Cassidy is an Irish mutant and former Interpol agent whose voice produces sonic screams and lets him fly. Pressed into crime by Factor Three, he was freed by the X-Men, joined the second-generation team, loved Moira MacTaggert, taught Generation X and fathered Siryn. He died in 2006 and has since been revived several times, most recently on Krakoa.
Fox films
A mutant whose voice produces powerful sonic waves, and an early X-Men recruit. He trains at Xavier's mansion, learns to fly with a wingsuit that uses his scream, and fights the Hellfire Club. Magneto later says he died between 1962 and 1973, killed after Bolivar Trask experimented on him.
Generation X (1996)
Sean Cassidy, an Irish mutant and co-headmaster of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters alongside Emma Frost. He has a laid-back teaching style that clashes playfully with hers, and he can produce sonic screams. Together they lead Generation X into the Dream Dimension against Russell Tresh to rescue Skin.
