Comics
Nathan Summers, called Cable, is the son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor, a telepathic and telekinetic mutant partly overtaken by the Techno-Organic Virus. Sent as an infant into a far future, he raised himself as a soldier, then returned to the late twentieth century to lead the New Mutants and X-Force. He later raised Hope Summers, died and returned several times, and now serves Krakoa and S.W.O.R.D.
