Negative Zone
Modern, Comics: The Builders say the Zone began as a failed pocket universe growing inside an existing one.
Comics
A parallel dimension of negatively charged matter with its own physical laws, breathable air and a harsh environment, said to be slowly contracting toward a feared central vortex. Most of it is ruled by Annihilus, who contests it with the warlord Blastaar, and both have tried to invade the positive universe. Reed Richards found it and later used it as a prison. It was formed as a failed pocket universe and once suffered a Cancerverse incursion.
