TMDB
Modern, Comics: Rider spends the whole Nova Force to stop Thanos in the Cancerverse and goes missing, leaving the Corps powerless and presumed disbanded.
Cinematic
The Xandarian commander of the Nova Corps who worked to end the long war between the Kree and Xandar. When Ronan threatened Xandar with the Power Stone, she accepted the Guardians' help, organised the fleet blockade, cleared their records afterward, and locked the Orb away in Nova Corps headquarters.
Comics
The Xandarian space militia that grew into a galactic peacekeeping force powered by the Nova Force from the Xandarian Worldmind. Its ranks run from Corpsmen to Centurions under a Nova Prime. Xandar and nearly the whole Corps fell in the Annihilation Wave, with Richard Rider surviving. It was rebuilt several times, lost its Andromeda authority, and was finally wiped out by an alternate-reality Church of Truth.
