Red Skull

TMDB
Modern, Comics: In Latveria, with Zola and Doctor Doom's equipment, the Skull takes over Steve Rogers' body before Rogers breaks free and the Skull is destroyed.
Cinematic
Johann Schmidt, a German physicist and SS officer who founded Hydra, took Erskine's early Super Soldier Serum in 1940, and was disfigured as Red Skull. He found the Tesseract in Norway in 1942, broke with Hitler, and was beaten by Captain America. In February 1945 he touched the Tesseract and was thrown to Vormir. He guarded the Soul Stone there and showed Thanos and Gamora how to take it in 2018.
Comics
Berlin street orphan turned Hitler's protege, Shmidt became the masked Nazi terrorist Red Skull and Captain America's chief foe. Left in suspended animation under a Berlin bunker in 1945, he returned in the modern era chasing the Cosmic Cube and world domination. Revived again and again through Zola's cloning and mind transfers, he worked from the shadows as Dell Rusk and through Aleksander Lukin. Doctor Doom finally killed him in Latveria.
Captain America (1990)
Italian boy kidnapped in 1936 by Mussolini's Blackshirts and made into an experimental super-soldier at Fortezza Lorenzo. Brainwashed and disfigured, he becomes the Red Skull and fights Captain America in 1943, surviving by cutting off his own hand. Decades later he builds a criminal empire and plots to take over the US presidency in 1993 before Captain America ends him.
