Laura, a girl grown in a lab from Logan's DNA, escapes her creators and is saved by her father, who dies protecting her. Later the TVA banishes her to the Void, where she joins a resistance against Cassandra Nova, helps Deadpool and an alternate Wolverine, and is returned home by B-15 to live with that Logan.

Laura Kinney, codenamed X-23, is a mutant created by a secret program from Wolverine's DNA and later shown to be the biological daughter of Logan and Sarah Kinney. Raised as an assassin, she joined the Xavier Institute, New X-Men, X-Force and Avengers Academy, took the Wolverine name, and spent centuries in the Vault. Resurrected as a duplicate, the original now goes by Talon.

Raised in the Transigen facility and then adopted by a nurse, she travels with Logan and Charles Xavier toward a rumored refuge in North Dakota.
