A survivor of Krall's attacks who escaped his prison on Altamid after her father sacrificed himself. She lived for years inside the wrecked USS Franklin, hidden by holograms and traps. In 2263 she helped Scotty and the Enterprise crew rescue their comrades and stop Krall, then was offered a place at Starfleet Academy.

1. 2263 Jaylah rescues Scotty from scavengers on Altamid and agrees to help him find his crew in return for repairs to the Franklin. source
2. 2263 She joins the plan to free the Enterprise crew from Krall's base, fighting his lieutenant Manas on a rooftop. source
3. 2263 She and Scotty reach Yorktown headquarters to shut down the atmospheric processor Krall meant to use against the starbase. source
4. 2263 At Kirk's birthday party on Yorktown she learns she has been accepted to Starfleet Academy. source
