Prime

Ferengi engineer and brother of Quark. He starts as a put-upon barman on Deep Space 9, unionises the staff, joins the station's maintenance crew and marries Leeta. His self-replicating mine idea helps block the wormhole in the Dominion War. In 2375 he becomes Grand Nagus and later begins talks to join the Federation.

  4. 2373 Rom confesses his love to Leeta and they marry later in the year in a ceremony led by Sisko. source
  5. 2374 Rom proposes self-replicating mines to close the Bajoran wormhole to Dominion reinforcements. source
  6. 2375 During the Dominion occupation Rom sabotages the station's weapons, which helps the Federation and Klingon task force retake it. source
  7. 2375 Rom becomes Grand Nagus of the Ferengi Alliance. source
  8. 2381 Rom meets Starfleet officers aboard a Federation ship and signs the first step of the Ferengi application to join the Federation. source
