Torol Sadeas

Highprince of House Sadeas in Alethkar and once a comrade of Gavilar and Dalinar in the wars of unification. He shared in the burning of the Rift, abandoned Dalinar at the Tower, and later schemed to unseat him from the Shattered Plains warcamps. Adolin killed him in Urithiru.

1. Gavilar, Dalinar and Sadeas storm the Rift ahead of their armies and take the city from Tanalan; Dalinar wins the Blade Oathbringer, which Sadeas had wanted. source
2. Sadeas proposes an advantageous marriage for Dalinar, which brings Evi and her Shardplate into the Kholin line. source
3. After Dalinar returns alive from a rebel landslide, Sadeas urges a brutal example to be made of every rebel in the Rift, and Dalinar agrees. source
4. The Rift is burned with Soulcast oil and Evi Kholin dies in the fire. source
5. The king publicly censures Sadeas and Dalinar for the loss of the city. source
6. At Gavilar's internment Sadeas is the first highprince to swear himself to vengeance on the Parshendi. source

1. Sadeas acts as a decoy to draw Szeth away from Gavilar and fails to stop the assassination. source
2. Sadeas wins the post of Highprince of Information from Elhokar and takes charge of the saddle-strap investigation. source
3. Sadeas agrees to Dalinar's joint plateau assaults and begins winning gemhearts faster. source
4. At the Tower Sadeas withdraws with his men and bridges, leaving Dalinar and a bridge crew to be overrun. source
5. Dalinar trades his Shardblade to Sadeas for all of Sadeas's bridgemen. source
