Samantha (Psamathe)

A banished minor goddess whose withering spirit lives in the severed head of a love doll. The Royal Court of Princess Donut recovers her on the Fifth Floor and hires her as the personal space's trainer. She is foul-mouthed, near indestructible and used as a scout and projectile. Later books tie her to the demon king Kimaris, the god Emberus and a missing daughter.

2. Once the crystal is broken the head begins to talk; Carl names her Samantha and Donut hires her as trainer through a loophole for NPCs. source
3. The feral demon Slit escapes and hunts her; Carl throws her over fifty kilometres and a many-armed god she calls her mother tears Slit in two. source

1. Samantha bites the soul crystals in the Butcher's Masquerade security room; the blast knocks Diwata unconscious and opens the floors between ballrooms. source
2. After the Masquerade she flies off on her own, urging Carl to take Princess Lunette's flesh golem. source

1. She rejoins the team on the Eighth Floor. source
2. Scouting, she lands in the web of the spider demigod Shi Maria and is eaten; the two later become friends. source
3. A portal to the Nothing tears open in the Desperado Club casino and releases the demon Minge, who hunts her through the club. source
4. As the Eighth Floor ends she announces she is leaving Carl to go back to her king. source

1. Left near an open portal from the Gate of the Feral Gods, Samantha draws out the feral god Yarilo instead of a Nothing demon, and he pursues her. source
2. After Emberus demands her over his son's death, she persuades him to throw her into the volcano and Carl recalls her. source

1. On the Eleventh Floor she whispers to the god Taranis after he seizes Krakaren, and he vanishes with both of them. source
