Dark Dimension
Modern, Comics: Weakened by the battle, Umar becomes subordinate and Dormammu takes the throne as regent of the realm.
Comics
A mystic realm with extra spatial directions, weak gravity and a porous fabric of space, which absorbed countless pocket dimensions. It is the largest surviving fragment of a shattered original plane. Mhuruuk wizards once kept an age of peace here until the exiled Faltine Dormammu and Umar steered their king into wars of conquest, then took over. Dormammu has ruled it since, behind a barrier holding back the Mindless Ones.
Cinematic
A hostile dimension ruled by Dormammu, built from every other dimension he absorbed, where time does not work as it does in the normal universe. Sorcerers draw on it for long life, and its Darkforce energy leaks into Earth. It holds a darker realm called Hell, the home of the Spirit of Vengeance, and the Loa. Kaecilius tried to bring it to Earth and Strange trapped Dormammu in a time loop.
