Comics

A Cheyenne mutant and shaman with an intuitive gift for building technology, who lost a leg and hand in Vietnam-era service and replaced them with cybernetics. His neutralizer weapon depowered Storm, and he has since worked with and against the X-Men, led X-Factor, joined Cable's X-Force, built Krakoa's resurrection technology, and after Krakoa's fall founded a new X-Force.

Fox films

A mutant who may have superhuman intuitive intelligence. He is named as the designer of the technology in the prison convoy in the X-Men: The Last Stand novel, and his status is unknown.

Timeline 15 events

  1. Bronze · Comics: Forge's neutralizer, taken by Henry Gyrich, strips Storm of her powers, and he rescues her and takes her to his Dallas home.
  2. Modern · Comics: Forge and Rom aim a giant neutralizer at Wraithworld, ending the Dire Wraith threat to Earth.
  3. Modern · Comics: Forge and Storm are trapped by the Adversary on an alternate Earth for a year, then return and banish the Adversary.
  4. Modern · Comics: Forge returns with the X-Men to restore the rebuilt mansion's technology.
  5. Modern · Comics: Valerie Cooper recruits Forge as government liaison to the new X-Factor, and he later leads the team.
  6. Modern · Comics: At Professor X's request Forge infiltrates Genosha with Multiple Man, and Exodus captures him posing as Magneto.
  7. Modern · Comics: After M-Day Forge builds a machine to scan alternate futures, and Bishop shoots him while hunting the first mutant baby.
  8. Modern · Comics: Having gone mad, Forge opens the Ghost Box to stop an invasion and is believed dead when his complex is destroyed.
  9. Modern · Comics: Cable heals Forge's mind and he joins Cable's X-Force.
  10. Secret Wars · Comics: Forge joins the X-Men who relocated the school to Limbo, and builds a machine to purge the Terrigen Mists.
  11. Fresh Start · Comics: Forge is enslaved by Cassandra Nova until Jean Grey's X-Men free him.
  12. Fresh Start · Comics: Nate Grey sends Forge to the Age of X-Man reality, where he is warden of a prison, until the mutants are released.
  13. Fresh Start · Comics: On Krakoa, Forge adds mind backups to Cerebro to make the resurrection protocols possible.
  14. Fresh Start · Comics: Forge is killed by Cerebrax and later resurrected by the Five.
  15. Fresh Start · Comics: After Krakoa falls, Forge founds a secret X-Force, and later meets Ironheart in space and travels with her to Nidavellir.
