Odo
A Changeling found adrift near Bajor and raised in a science institute, who became security chief of the station Terok Nor under Cardassian rule and then of Deep Space 9. Known for devotion to justice, he discovered the Founders in 2371, was forced into solid form, fell in love with Kira, and in 2375 returned to the Great Link to cure his people.

- 2365 Odo is recruited by Dukat to investigate a murder on Terok Nor and eventually becomes its chief of security.
- 2366 He convicts three innocent Bajorans after a bombing, a lesson that shapes his idea of justice, and becomes an officer of the Cardassian court.
- 2369 Odo stays on as chief of security when the station becomes Deep Space 9 under Federation administration.
- 2371 He discovers the Founders' homeworld in the Gamma Quadrant and learns they are Changelings.
- 2371 Odo kills a Changeling impostor posing as Ambassador Krajensky, the first Changeling to harm another.
- 2371 He travels with Quark, Rom and Nog to Earth in 1947 in the Roswell incident.
- 2372 Odo visits Earth, helps expose Admiral Leyton's coup, and is infected with a morphogenic virus by Section 31.
- 2372 The Great Link judges him and forces him into permanent humanoid form.
- 2373 A dying infant Changeling restores his shapeshifting.
- 2375 Odo helps Kira and Rom retake Deep Space 9 from the Dominion.
- 2375 He links with the Female Changeling, curing her of the virus, and returns to the Great Link to help his people.
