Tsarina Signet

A half-naiad, half-high-elf summoner and Elite NPC, star of the Syndicate drama Vengeance of the Daughter. Carl and Donut meet her on the Third Floor beside Grimaldi's Traveling Circus, which she helps them break open. On the Sixth Floor she leads a quest against the Naiad Confederacy and her half-sister Queen Imogen, and dies by her own hand at the Butcher's Masquerade.

1. When the cataclysm hits the Over City, Grimaldi becomes a vine and the troupe is enslaved; Signet is left unaltered, banished from the big top, and attacks it nightly for about two centuries. source

2. She puts Donut under the Water Lily Spell to force Carl to kill a neighborhood boss as her blood sacrifice. source
3. Carl cures the vine Grimaldi, who lifts Signet's banishment, and she enters the big top. source

1. On the Sixth Floor she reappears near Point Mongo with Areson the Wise and the Were-castors. source
2. Her force of about seventy recruits Carl and Donut to take Fort Freedom and kill the Naiad Confederacy's leaders. source
3. Fort Freedom falls, but she refuses to rule because of her curse, and the quest turns to killing Queen Imogen. source
4. She plants Grimaldi beside an All-tree node, where he becomes one with the tree. source
5. At the Butcher's Masquerade Empress D'nadia tells her that her world is constructed and watched, and she prepares a final spell with herself as caster, sacrifice and killer. source
6. Seated beside Imogen she cuts her own throat, is pulled into the Nothing, and breaks the peace seal so the Masquerade spell fails. source
7. Her tattoos survive her as memory golems, and she asks Carl through Miss Nadine to use the unfinished flesh golem of Princess Lunette to help Samantha. source
