Leopold Fitz is a Scottish-born engineer and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, inseparable from research partner Jemma Simmons. He survives brain damage, rescues Simmons from Maveth, helps defeat Hive, and is trapped by Aida in the Framework, where he lives as the ruthless Doctor. Frozen to chase his lost team, he drifts through space, reunites with Simmons, helps beat the Chronicoms, then retires to raise their daughter Alya.
