Julian Bashir
A genetically enhanced Human physician, born in 2341, who graduated Starfleet Medical in 2368 and took the posting as chief medical officer of Deep Space 9. His secret enhancement became public in 2373. He befriended Miles O'Brien and Elim Garak, served in the Dominion War, and was recruited by Section 31 in 2374.

- 2341 Bashir is born, the only child of Richard and Amsha Bashir.
- 2348 His parents take him to Adigeon Prime for illegal genetic enhancement, kept secret for decades.
- 2368 He graduates from Starfleet Medical Academy as salutatorian and is offered any posting in the fleet.
- 2369 Bashir arrives at Deep Space 9 as its new chief medical officer and treats the wounded in the first week of Federation command.
- 2370 He is the first Starfleet officer in over a century to cross into the mirror universe.
- 2371 Bashir, Dax and Sisko are accidentally sent back three hundred years to the Bell Riots on Earth.
- 2372 Bashir is promoted to full lieutenant and prepares the station's medical staff for the Klingon assault.
- 2372 A Changeling impersonates Bashir on the station while the real doctor is held at Internment Camp 371 in the Gamma Quadrant.
- 2373 His genetic enhancement is exposed when Zimmerman models a medical hologram on him; he keeps his commission after his father accepts a prison sentence.
- 2374 Section 31 abducts Bashir and offers him a place as an operative; he refuses, then is ordered by Sisko to join as a double agent.
- 2375 Bashir lectures on Romulus on a Section 31 errand and later, with O'Brien, extracts a cure for the morphogenic virus afflicting Odo and the Founders.
- 2375 He fights in the defense of AR-558 and the final battle of the Dominion War, and begins a relationship with Ezri Dax.
