Data
A Soong-type android built by Noonien Soong, found abandoned on Omicron Theta, who became the first of his kind to enter Starfleet. He served as operations and second officer of two Enterprises, fought for recognition of android rights, and died stopping Shinzon in 2379. A later copy was revived in a golem body in 2401.

- 1893 Data is thrown into late nineteenth-century San Francisco by the Devidians; his severed head is left behind there.
- 2063 Data is part of the party that beams down to Earth to inspect Zefram Cochrane's Phoenix after the Borg sphere is destroyed.
- 2338 A landing party from the Tripoli finds and reactivates Data on Omicron Theta after the Crystalline Entity destroyed the colony.
- 2364 Data is assigned to the Enterprise-D as second officer and takes part in the Farpoint mission.
- 2364 The Enterprise-D reaches Omicron Theta and finds Data's earlier brother Lore.
- 2366 Data builds an android daughter, Lal, who fails within weeks from a cascade failure.
- 2370 Data first feels emotion on Ohniaka III and is briefly turned against the crew by Lore, who is then shot and dismantled.
- 2371 Data installs the emotion chip and survives the saucer crash on Veridian III, where Soran is stopped.
- 2375 Data is damaged during the Ba'ku mission, warns the Ba'ku of the duck blind and helps defeat the Son'a.
- 2379 Data boards the Scimitar and destroys the thalaron weapon, dying in the blast that ends Shinzon.
- 2399 Data's memories are reconstructed in a simulation on Coppelius, where Picard grants his wish to end it.
- 2401 A separate Data is revived in the golem Daystrom Android M-5-10, rescued by the Titan-A, and returns to the rebuilt Enterprise-D.
