Fresh Start, Comics: Nimrod uses Warlock's link to Krakoa to take over the island, and the Legionaries kill Warlock to cut him off.
Comics
Krakoa is a sentient living island in the Pacific, one half of an ancient landmass called Okkara that was split in two, the other half being Arakko. It once preyed on the X-Men, then became the sovereign mutant nation founded by Charles Xavier, governed by the Quiet Council. Orchis ended the nation at the 2023 Hellfire Gala, and the island later merged with an Atlantic island and moved to the White Hot Room.
